About The Dotse Foundation

Creating A Brighter Tomorrow

The Dotse Foundation was founded in 2022 by Gifty Dotse, Alfred Dotse Jnr, Mavis Dotse and Samuel Ablordeppey — a family united not just by name, but by a shared conviction: that no one should have to suffer through hardship while others are in a position to help.

Our Story

Our foundation began as a family decision, not a business plan. Each of us grew up believing that giving isn’t something you do when it’s convenient — it’s something built into who you are. We watched people around us struggle with needs that felt basic and solvable, and we knew that standing by wasn’t an option we were willing to accept. So we came together, pooled that shared conviction, and turned it into something structured enough to make a lasting difference.

We also give because we believe it is right to do so — that those who are able to give are blessed in the giving itself, and that this blessing is meant to be shared forward, not held onto.

Who We Serve

We focus our work on two groups who are too often overlooked: orphans and widows.

Orphans

For orphaned children, we provide for the essentials that every child deserves and needs to thrive — shelter, food, and education — building a foundation not just for survival, but for a future worth looking forward to.

Widows

For widows, we offer support during a season of life that can be isolating and difficult, helping to ease the burden of loss with practical, dignified care.

Our Motto

Creating A Brighter Tomorrow.

Everything we do is guided by this simple idea: the support we offer today isn’t just about meeting a need in the moment — it’s about building toward a brighter tomorrow for the individuals and families we serve, and for the communities they’re part of.

Our Commitment

The Dotse Foundation was built on family values, and we carry those values into every part of our work: compassion without condition, consistency in our care, and a belief that even small acts of generosity, given faithfully, create real and lasting change.

We invite you to join us in creating a brighter tomorrow — for the orphans and widows who need it most, today.
