Our first visit

The Eye of the Lord Orphanage was the first home we ever visited as a foundation — the day our work stopped being an intention and became something we actually did.

We arrived with essential supplies for the household: staples for the kitchen, provisions for the weeks ahead, and the everyday items it takes to run a home of this size. It mattered to us that the first thing we did was turn up with something useful — and that the second was to listen.
